This four-hour program targets new parents and grandparents, but any and all individuals who are caring for children from birth to eight years of age are strongly encouraged to attend. This course is conducted by specialists in Pediatric Emergency Care and covers the following topics:
Choking: how can we prevent it and what to do when it occurs How to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation What is SIDS? Child safety, accident prevention and childproofing your home and what to do in drowning situations.
Cost: $50 per person. Group discounts available.
A participation card is issued but it is not a credential.
